NCM102Ah and NCM177Ah have the almost same width and height but different thicknesses. Both cells are the most popular lithium battery cells for passenger vehicles and vehicles with limited space. Benefiting Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC) is an advanced technology in performance, with higher energy density and less weight per kilogram, the NCM battery can extend the driving range of EVs significantly compared with lithium iron phosphate battery(LFP).
For NCM102Ah and NCM177Ah, the three materials proportion of Nickel, Manganese, and Cobalt is LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2 (NCM 523). The weight and volume energy density of NCM102Ah are separately 220Wh/kg and 506Wh/L, and the weight and volume energy density of NCM177Ah is separately 240Wh/kg and 550Wh/L.
We recommend customers select NCM102Ah-1P6S or NMC177Ah 1P4S 355 VDA modules from Lithium Storage. There are two reasons. One reason is that the quality and reliability of both modules have been verified via mass assembly and commercial operation in the passenger vehicle projects in China's local market. Secondly, NCM102Ah-1P6S or NMC177Ah 1P4S 355 VDA modules have been certificated by MSDS and UN38.3, as well as a series of Chinese National Standard for electric vehicle applications.
